1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Privasee ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Privasee is a mobile application that allows you to securely store photos and videos in an encrypted vault on your device. The app may also offer optional cloud backup features.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Privasee, you agree to:

Use the app only for lawful purposes
Not store content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
Keep your password and authentication credentials secure
Be solely responsible for the content you store in the app
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app

4. Password and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your vault password. Privasee does not store your password on any server, and we cannot recover it if lost. If you forget your password, you may lose access to your encrypted content.

      Important: We cannot recover your password or decrypt your content. Please store your password securely.
    

5. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Privasee and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.

You retain full ownership of any photos, videos, or other content you store within the app.

6. Cloud Backup (Optional)

If you choose to use cloud backup features:

Your content will be encrypted before upload
Cloud storage is provided through third-party infrastructure (Firebase)
We are not responsible for service interruptions by third-party providers
You may delete your cloud data at any time through the app

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Privasee is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
Any defects will be corrected
The app is free of viruses or harmful components

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privasee and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or content stored in the app
Unauthorized access to your device or vault
Interruption of service or inability to use the app
Any damages resulting from third-party services

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the app.

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored encrypted content.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
